The new Slax image is fixed. I’ve added the updated e1000e driver so the machines boot, can see the network, and have all the software we’ll need for the semester. At the next lab period, we’ll have a CD burning fiesta.
I’ll be posting the iso file on my W: drive soon. I need to get the directory unlocked and set read/write for my userid, but once that happens, there’ll be a copy of the iso local to the Randolph campus and you won’t have to wait forever while it downloads. I’ll post an update once the image is ready for download.
Feel free to burn your own disc before the lab.
