I filed a trouble ticket with the Apple App store reguarding my purchase of Lion and my plan to return to Snow Leopard. Apple has said they will return my money for Lion since I was dissatisfied and won’t be using the software. Well done Apple. Your customer service is good. Too bad your marketing […]

WWDC 2011, not so exciting after all
Apple’s WWDC keynote gave Steve Job’s the opportunity to show off the new MacOS X, the new iOS and the iCloud service, none of which seem to be all that exciting. I was left with more questions than answers after the show. Here’s just a few of them: If Lion is a download only install […]

FEMA loses access to data and why gov’t systems are prone to lose things.
InformationWeek is reporting a story about FEMA and how they lost access to their lessons learned database. The inspector general concluded that FEMA cannot access lessons learned materials prior to May 2010. Here’s the link to their story http://www.informationweek.com/news/government/enterprise-apps/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=229209496&subSection=News# I’ve seen this sort of “out with the old” and “in with the new” technology updates […]
